Just wanted to tell Art how good it is to see him regularly on the internet. He is truly a journalistic treasure in this area, and it's a crying shame that the newspaper business is drying up and disgarding people of value such as Art, who have integrity, wonderful story telling ability, and a true passion and understanding for the athletes and the games that they play.
Luckily, there are some traditional media outlets that still practice "old school" journalism, and I'm proud to say I work for one of them here at Comcast sports net bay area. As a matter of fact, Art will join us from time to time on Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area's "Chronicle Live," with host Greg Papa. In fact, I just scheduled Art to appear with us on Wednesday, May 13th, along with Pro Football Hall of Famer Bob St Clair, the great former Niners lineman. Good luck to you Art with this new venture, and I'll enjoy going to the website each day to read your latest musings!

I'm finished with the Fins. Time to focus on the Giants. Two good outings, no wins for Zito. Is he this year's Matt Cain?
